Dream a Little Dream

On behalf of the Battle family, welcome to Red August Farm! We’re glad you’re here. Just like you, we went through the process of searching for a wedding venue for our two daughters. One wanted a traditional chapel wedding, and the other wanted a barn wedding. We realized the difficulty of finding a barn venue that could be ours for the entire weekend. Based on that experience, the idea for Red August Farm was born!

We put our planning and contracting skills to work to carefully design and renovate a 4,300 square foot historic barn originally built in the 1920s. We transformed our 15-acre property in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains into a wedding venue oasis. From the moment you turn onto the tree-lined drive, we want you to feel transported into a private sanctuary for the beginning of your happily ever after.

When you book your wedding with us, Red August Farm becomes exclusively yours for the weekend. We’re always available for whatever you may need and have included amenities in our weekend wedding package to make your planning even easier. We know you’re entrusting us for one of the most special moments of your life, and we’re here to make your dream a reality.
